We would like for a Family Practice/Internal Medicine/Urgent Care physician to work part-time on the weekends. The office has great support staff, pleasant work environment, and a highly desirable central location. Most of the presenting problems are of low acuity (there is a tertiary hospital one mile away), and the majority of patients are young or middle-age adults (a small percentage of patients are children older than 18 months).

Physician should be comfortable reading occasional EKG, plain X-ray (with radiologist’s over-read), performing Pap, and doing occasional simple I & D and laceration repair. On the average, the doctor will see about 2-3 patients per hour. There is no mid-level supervision, no call, and no hospital work.

Unrestricted Texas medical license is required. Malpractice insurance will be provided. Physician will receive competitive hourly compensation, depending on experience, and a productivity bonus.

Job schedule is flexible & negotiable – typically, three or four Saturdays a month are available for MD/DO to work. If the physician is interested in working additional work hours during the week, please let us know. If desired, full time position with a possibility of partnership may be considered in the future.
